Chinese Whispers is a Category 2 firework that is slightly different from most. It is a quieter firework and starts with a serene red and crackling fountain and then fires shots of colourful flying fish, falling leaves, strobing mine lifts and then silver comet tails. It finishes with a volley of glittering horsetails.
If you require low noise fireworks, due to nearby residents or livestock, then this is a great option. Why it costs more to deliver fireworks?
We would like to remind you that fireworks are classed as explosives, and so the cost will be more to ship them compared to regular goods like books and CDs etc.
Fireworks require specialist couriers that have to hold a special licence to be able to do this, and they do charge extra for handling hazardous goods like fireworks.
Also, the further away from our distribution centre (in Luton, Bedfordshire) you are, the more it will cost.
We do try to subsidise as much of these costs as possible, but can only do this so much, so we hope you understand why it does cost more.
