Why it costs more to deliver fireworks?
We would like to remind you that fireworks are classed as explosives, and so the cost will be more to ship them compared to regular goods like books and CDs etc.
Fireworks require specialist couriers that hold a special licence to be able to do this and they do charge extra for handling explosives.
Also, the further away from our distribution centre (in Luton, Bedfordshire) you are, the more it will cost.
We do try to subsidise as much of these costs as possible, but can only do this so much, so we hope you understand why it does cost more.
