Delivery Terms

UK Mainland Deliveries (for Highlands & Islands please see below):

• Free Delivery with orders over £350 (UK Mainland Only, excluding postcodes at the bottom of this section) - please note, this is calculated AFTER any discounts have been applied.

• Express delivery of 2 working days ON ALL ORDERS. Eg an order before midnight on a Monday will be delivered on a Wednesday at the earliest. An order placed before midnight on a Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday at the earliest. 
• If spending under the £350 threshold then a courier charge will be automatically added. Please see below

These postcodes above will incur a £95 charge with any order below £400 due to higher courier costs and charges to these areas. Any order above £400 will be FREE

Scotland, Scottish Highlands and Islands

We regret we are no longer able offer a delivery service to Scotland for orders under the value of £750 or indeed a 48 hours turnaround on any size order. Please call 0800 511511 to discuss the possible options.

Please note, in terms of delivery classification only,  Fireworks Direct does not class the Scottish Highlands as a part of UK Mainland.

Our couriers count the following postcodes to be part of the Highlands: AB11-32+,  FK1-15+ 

Unfortunately we cannot currently deliver outside the UK or to the following locations: Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle Of Wight, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, the Isles of Scilly and the following postcodes: AB33-38, FK15+,  G83+, HS, KW1+, PA20+, PH6+, FK15+,ZE and all Scottish West Coast Islands.

We can however arrange delivery to shipping companies to deliver across the water, but cannot go any further that this due to high shipping costs beyond this. Please contact us for details.

Failed Firework Delivery Attempts: The courier will require a signature and is not permitted to leave the shipment unattended, so please ensure that a person over the age of 18 years old is available to sign for the delivery. Whether you buy fireworks online or over the phone, you will always have the option to specify a delivery address, so if you are unsure if anybody will be home to receive your fireworks delivery, then please consider using your work address. Please note: If the courier is unable to deliver as agreed, a charge of £55 will be made.

Firework Delivery Cost when spending under £349.99: If you buy fireworks online and spend under the £300 threshold then a courier charge will be automatically added.

In-Store Pickup: At present, this website does not have a Click & Collect / Pick-Up option and is purely an online order and delivery service. 

Please note: the minimum order value on this site is £70 (excluding carriage costs). 

Why it costs more to deliver fireworks?

We would like to remind you that fireworks are classed as explosives, and so the cost will be more to ship them compared to regular goods like books and CDs etc.

Fireworks require specialist couriers that have to hold a special licence to be able to do this, and they do charge extra for handling hazardous goods like fireworks.

Also, the further away from our distribution centre (in Luton, Bedfordshire) you are, the more it will cost.

We do try to subsidise as much of these costs as possible, but can only do this so much, so we hope you understand why it does cost more.
